Saturday 10th May
Brenda and I have the worst jet-lag either of us can remember, we slept very little even though we are incredibly weary. We had breakfast around 9 in the morning and then set off for Eaglerider to collect our bike for the ride.
Eaglerider were very efficient and had a virtually new Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic in my favorite colour of Silver waiting for us. To be honest I was too tired to ride a bike, Brenda followed me the short distance back to the hotel car park. We abandoned the idea of a practice ride together as we feared it might be the last thing we ever did. The traffic around the strip is no place to be on a big heavy motorcycle when you have jet-lag / sleep deprivation. When we got back to the hotel we rested a while by the pool and had a late lunch while the Harley was silently locked up in the car park. I knew what I would have preferred to be doing but common sense had to prevail.
We saw the show KA by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand on Saturday night, it is a spectacle beyond description.
